Slow and Steady = 46.2% Profit Using our FREE Dutch Win Wagering Calculator
In Aesop's Fable, The Tortoise and the Hare, the moral of the story is that slow and steady wins the race. (We know there are a lot of theories about the "true" meaning, but we'll stick with the most obvious meaning which is the most likely.)
We couldn't help but think of the children's tale as we tried our new Dutch Wagering Calculator. (You can download the Dutch Calculator for free at https://www.guaranteedtipsheet.com/Dutch_Betting_Calculator.zip).
In case you aren't familiar with "Dutching", it's a method of making multiple win bets in the same race where you are guaranteed a profit if one of your selections win. Apparently, the strategy is big with the punters in the UK. In fact, we learned of it reading about one of those weekend horse racing festivals in England.
Using our new Dutch Win Calculator is easy, so easy a caveman who bets horses can use it. (The free download comes with complete "How To" instructions as well.) All you need to do is enter the total you want to wager, the odds on the horses you think have a chance to win, and the calculator shows you how much to bet on each horse. Remember, if one your picks win, you win.
So, we decided to try it out. You know, we had that new gadget feeling and couldn't wait for the races to start and put it to use.
We deposited $100 into the online account and used the following rules in determining which races to wager on:
1 - We used only our top three picks in each race we wagered on.
2 - But only when the lowest odds for one of our three picks was 9/5 or higher a few minutes before post time. Otherwise we skipped the horse and went to the next in order until we had 3 horses per race.
3 - We wagered a total of $10 per race.
That's it! Simple, right?
In theory, we could have started with just $10 because we never had two "live" bets at once. However, you'll need a bigger bankroll in case you lose the first couple of races.
Much like the Tortoise, we never piled up a bunch of money at once; although, our selections produced plenty of big exotic tickets Saturday, but that's not the purpose of "Dutching." The purpose is to steadily build your bankroll, one race at a time. And that's exactly what happened.
Our balance grew from $100 to $146.40 in 8 races, spread throughout the day, a 46.4% positive return-on-investment. Slow and steady won the day. Now, we have to say the obvious, no wagering system is foolproof or guarantees that you'll make money, but you already know that.
That being said, if you are looking for a wagering method that puts the odds to work for you, consider downloading our FREE Dutch Win Calculator. Try our simple rules, or make up your own, but give it a try.
We enjoyed a low-stress afternoon of horse racing. We believe you'll like it too.
Have a blessed day and good luck at the races.
